Baker Mayfield Bids Farewell To The Browns; Duke Johnson Fires Back

This off-season has been utter chaos, a quarterback carousel, if you will. From Russell Wilson being traded to the Broncos, Carson Wentz getting shipped off to Washington, Tom Brady's return to the league, and now the anticipation of "where will Deshaun Watson land?" Baker Mayfield, former No.1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, has had heard the buzz within the Browns organization. Are they looking to move on after just four years? It seems to be that way, and Baker doesn't like the rumors, taking to Twitter on Tuesday night saying, "Cleveland will always be a part of Emily my story. And we will always be thankful for the impact it has had and will have in our lives." The Browns had not officially made a move at quarterback when the former No. 1 overall pick tweeted this message out.

Interestingly enough, former Browns RB Duke Johnson tweeted out this gif less than 20-minutes after Baker's farewell tweet to the Browns. According to Field Yates, Johnson requested a trade back in 2019, and Mayfield said, "You're either on this train or you're not." Shots fired!
