Is there a cooler person in pro sports than Joel Embid, right now? I'm not sure there is. Embid and Pelican's rookie Jose Alvarado got double technical fouls Tuesday night after a small altercation, and Embid responded in a way we've never heard before. He paid the rookies fine! The two got into a heated moment, but after the rookie later joked with Embid saying, "c'mon, you know I can't afford that T," Embid reached out to Alvarado after the game to cover it because he appreciated Alvarado's fight! I've never been a 76ers fan, but this kid is impossible not to root for!
