U.S. Ambassador Marks Memorial Day With Murph Challenge Alongside Marines

The U.S. Ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, completed the Murph Challenge in Berlin with a group of Embassy Marines.

The Murph Challenge consists of a one-mile run followed by 100 pullups, 200 pushups, 300 squats & another one-mile run, all while wearing a 20-pound vest.

The Murph Challenge was named after Lt. Michael Murphy, a Navy SEAL who died in a firefight in Afghanistan in 2005.
