Tampa Bay Buccaneers Dirk Koetter Left Searching For Answers

Buccaneers Dirk Koetter

In a game where the Bucs accounted for over 500 yards of offense but just three points, head coach Dirk Koetter revealed that he called the plays on offense for the first time this season. The Bucs were 1-of-5 in the red zone today, with one field goal, one missed field goal, and three turnovers. Koetter spoke with the media after the Bucs 16-3 loss.

(On the turnovers and lack of execution in the red zone today)

“We can’t move it like that, four-zero in the turnover margin is going to kill you every time. We had a lot of chances in that first half, just not good enough.”

(On if he will change kickers after Chandler Catanzaro missed two more field goals)

“Any personnel changes won’t come today. We’ll talk about those tomorrow, but that will be something that Jason (Licht) will have to talk about tomorrow, at any position.”
